It is good to hear how you have been doing. I have also not made much in the way of updates for awhile. I should do that soon. My GF blog too has been lacking in updates, but so many things, good and bad, seem to get in the way of journaling lately.
not sure but I stayed in a nice hotel, on the inland waterway. it was definately a nice change from Southern Ontario in mid-March i.e. a lot warmer. intereting to you with your background in investingating bankfraud , it was close to the bank of America building. Oh and also interesting I flew out of Buffalo, much cheaper flights. downtown Buffalo is really run-down looking.

I know I'm a couple days late, but Happy Birthday as well. I hope it was a calm, relaxing day.
Thank you for your comment on my birthday, as well. It got me looking around here once more, which led me to end up in contact with a couple of other people, and I suppose I'm going to try again to resume my writing in here. I've had my LJ for 11 years at this point... no sense in stopping now, right? :)

unfortunately, it ended up being a very stressful day. It turned out ultiamtely that I did not anything wrong but I think my emotional state got the better of me, plus my seeming inability to understand social cues made it worse. I ended up in tears etc. fortunately, I was able to speak to my parents over the phone and discuss it with them. being a graduate student is not easy your academic supervisor has control of money, unless you are lucky or skilled enough to get a major scholarship and for a student such myself with a disability competing with other very smart students, it is going to happen.
p.s I know you do facebook more than LJ and I should do facebook.

I'm going to try to do both. FB is not somewhere for journaling or getting thoughts off your chest. LJ is. I'll friend you over there, but I think I feel like spending some time on LJ again as well. I think I need to.

yes, I think that things are smoothed out now.... or at least I hope so.
I look forward to reading more about you soon. I agree that facebook is not for detailing life updates. you have to use your own email address and own name. I do not want the world necessarily to read what I write. If I write that I do not like someone such as a boss ... I do not want to be judged for that. not that LJ is secure unless you use the https version but at least no one is interested enough in me to do a thorough search unless I run for elected office :)
