Wireless card for XP and Ubuntu

I still haven't replaced the Linksys WUSB300N wireless network device that (a) doesn't work at all with Ubuntu and (b) periodically locks up XP.

You could always look for one that specifically has official Linux drivers? Are there any?

I don't follow hardware at all closely, so I hadn't realized that power-line networking was this far along. Wow! I just ordered a kit with one xe104 and one xe103...should arrive Monday. My fingers will be crossed until then.

I wanted to leave an update on this in this thread, for the benefit of future Googlers trying to solve the same problem. I installed the Netgear XE103 and 104 units last night; they literally just plugged in and worked. The whole thing was done in about ten minutes, most of that being time spent rearranges power plugs to make room for the rather bulky units. And the resulting network connection is fast and solid as a rock so far.
