Almost Ubuntu

My Ubuntu/XP dual boot is set up and working fine, with a single exception: I can't get my wifi connection to work from Ubuntu. I've scoured the web for advice, and found quite a lot of it, but so far nothing has worked. So, all you Linux geeks out there, I need one or both of these questions answered
