Dental Hijinks

The dentist saw me today. I actually just got back. It took 2 and a half hours. My appointment, which I found out about 20 minutes before hand, was at 3. I went to the back and got in the dental chair at 3:25. The assistant chick did some test to check the sensitivity of the nerve in the tooth, then I lay there for 30 more minutes waiting for

No he wasn't joking!! He wasn't going to ask me or anything!! Not even offer me the laughing gas!!! I did want to smack him for a minute there.
My roommate is actually handling this whole thing rather well. I know I would be in therapy for it, but she seems...ok. She is however having lots of trouble when she is driving. Someone almost pulling out in front of her yesterday, and she starting screaming hysterically, and had to pull over for a while to calm down. I told her she should probably not drive for a week or so, but she said it would just be harder later if she were to put it off, and I guess that makes sense.

Man, that is terrible about your roommate. I would have a hard time handling something like that.

I would too. she is doing better that I would expect. Except for the trouble she is having while driving, being really nervous and freaked out, I think she is doing fabulous. She is quite the trooper.
