It has been some time between journal entries. My girlfriend is now my ex-girlfriend and during that whole breaking up shitstorm I just couldn't summon the will to journal. It had to happen and I feel better now that it's done and the ties have been fully cut. It's that sordid breaking up period that's the hardest. Feelings are still in flux and

Sorry it didn't work out. Perhaps for the best, and now you can move on to more happiness. Dating is all good, for awhile... no need to rush things. Enjoy being single while you can, and a nice woman that will make you happy will come along when the time is right. :)
