I love this verse so, so much. I love how smart this is, not just the characters and their internal intelligence (not always seen in the show, so yay for it being here; particularly Elizabeth) but in the writing itself. You're so deft, turning prose into things we need to know, want to know.

Also, I miss you :( I wish you were coming to Shore Leave, although I suspect I'd do something silly like attach myself to you the entire time.

re: Shore Leave. If I could afford it, believe you me, I'd be there in a heartbeat. But since my impromptu Dominican vacation, I can't take any more time off work - and work = key to paying for school, which is important for reasons I'm sure I'll remember someday. Agh. I probably would cling right back to you, to be honest.
