Oh, man, the difference between being sexually harassed by assholes and hit on by a smart, attractive woman? Amazing.

She seems really, really awesome, and in lieu of asking me to dinner or something silly, she asked me to come with her to the Japanese Culture Festival Saturday, which I wanted to go to anyway. Plus? She's really, really hot.

First of all, you know that I don't like Elizabeth. Presumably that's why I didn't beta this one? Anyway. That being said,

Five things Elizabeth...

The idea of Colony Atlantis is one of my favorite "what if" scenarios - I like these glimpses of your version. I can believe all too easily in #2. And #3. And, actually, 4, 5, and 1. But I think I like the combination of 2 and 3 best; I can so easily see Elizabeth hanging on by tooth-gritted stubbornness while doing her best to look like she's got everything together.

Thank you so much! Yeah, I'm kind of partial to those two parts myself; *that's* the Elizabeth I like, but don't see enough of on the show, refusing to let herself be human because she's got to lead. I'm glad she came across that way to you.

These are actually outtakes from a much longer story in the colony!verse, from an Elizabeth POV. It's nowhere near finished, but when it is it shall be LONG like an anaconda. For real. It's ridiculous. :)

Also, thank you! I liked that image, too, of her fear for John finally overwhelming her loyalty to Earth. It's much elaborated on in the longer story. *shameless plug*

Um. That would be because said long colony fic exists only in my head, and partially on my hard drive? These are all bits I've come up with while working on it.

one almost made me cry. Colony!Atlantis is a favourite theme of mine, and I love the bits like this that show the expedition members fighting for each other and how much they all mean to each other.
