The week has finally ended. I will be going white water rafting tomorrow. I brought work home with me, which I will probably do Sunday morning. Yipee. Perhaps I'll sit in a cafe and work. This has some degree of appeal

Unit of daily fun

Ooh, a new unit of measurement, I love units of measurement. Can I play along? What are the candidates so far?

Acro influence is wanting me to propose "a flip" or "a flight", but really we need something more generic because it needs to be appropriate for other fun things.

Right now, the standard unit of measurement is the 'wahoo'. The 'milliwahoo' was suggested as a subunit, but I think I might change that. 'Yahoo' is a little on the lame side. I did think of 'yipee', which I think would be a great subunit (10 or 100 yipees to the wahoo), but I haven't decided for sure yet. Possibly also the 'hooray'? (10 hoorays to 1 yipee, 10 yipees to the wahoo? I'm not sure that a wahoo really needs to be broken down into 100 bits.)

We also thought I could create bar graphs and pie charts with this. Power point presentations would follow. I could record the numbers of wahoos per day in a year and then see if there are trends; even compare them over a couple of years.

It's a thought. Hey, both our shoulders are injured, so we can't climb or paddle. We have to amuse ourselves somehow! :)
