Also, having seen gay pride, I'm not sure a gay marriage revolution would see a decrease in exotic dressing at weddings.

Weeeell, I'm sure the occasion might change a few things. Of course, like all stereotypes, it isn't necessarily true that a gay man would have better taste, and I'm sure that there are more than a few gay wedding planners out there already. But I do see his point - I mean seriously, is it tradition that the bridesmaids be dressed in the ugliest outfits possible?
