Sounds like this movie is going to get roundly panned. I've read two reviews so far, and won't bother reading any more. I think it's going to flop, but if any of you do go to see it, know that the location work was done in Tenerife (or at least a large part of it was). Watching this trailer it is very recognizable. The scenery was great (all that obsidian!) but the rest is dross. Thanks for the glimpse of El Pico - really must go again!

Mmmm. I was up there last weekend. It was very, very blustery, went through 3 seaons in one day, extraordinary, even after living here so long. Next time you really should stay up there overnight in the Parador, and experience the incredible night skies. Although I imagine you have seen those at sea?

Saw 3D with Avatar. Interesting enhancement though it didn't make or break the story. I kept peeking under the glasses to see what the screen looked like. Blaah.

As for Clash of Titans, ah another Hollywood remake.

LOL - that would be me, too, peeking under the glasses. Might take in the movie just because it was filmed here out of curiosity.
