Spring Cleaning

Ok, that´s it. I´ve learned something new about myself today. I´ve just discovered that I hate Spring Cleaning with the passion of a thousand burning suns.

Seriously! Somebody ougtha do millions a favor and kill all 'cleaning bugs' when they come anywhere near a mom. Moms have the potential to be evil. Moms can make dads shun the switching-on of all ( Read more... )

Awww! That sounds exhausting.

That picture is how I feel a lot of the time, LOL. I clean the kitchen and five minutes later there are dishes everywhere. I catch up on the laundry and suddenly there's a new load. My kids go looking for a toy and suddenly the entire living room is covered.

*hugs* I hope you get to relax and listen to music and not think about cleaning!

Thank you very much! Yeah, it´s very frustrating to work hard to get everything clean and neat, and then turn around and have all looking almost the same as before... I guess it´s true that house work is never done with. Can´t imagina what´s like for you, with 2 children...Actually, I can. I was a messy kid. I guess this is kinda payback :P

LOL, kinda like when moms say "you'll have a kid just like you, just wait and see!"

Ah, I'm used to it with the kids. Before I got married, I lived with my younger brother and sister and was constantly picking up after them. But I got married very young (18) and had Anakin and Arwen very young (19 and 21 respectively) so it's all I've known in my adult life. ^_^

Spring cleaning sucks.

Cause suddenly, mom decided they needed to be relocated. To the Third floor.

I think moms decided to do that just to make our lives harder.

Of course they do! It´s probably their way of executing heavenly justice for all the near heartattacks that we gave them when we were little...and not so little :P

I feel for you. I hate it when my mom gets the cleaning bugs too. For me, as long as it looks clean, it's good. I don't want to drag everything out just to clean places that will easily collect dust again. But of course, that's lazy talking.

Dirty is bad. A clean organized chaos is good (for me). Moving things that have been in their place 20 years and probably can last another 20 there...ouch
A 'cleaning bug' insecticide is sorely needed indeed!
