Hope everyone had a great weekend.

I spent my weekend buying flowers and decorating my place with them after carefully trimming the stems and placing them in vases.

Ha. Y'know... that reminds me... it seems like todays performers (note I didn't say musicians) have to rip off the original stuff to score... Look at what Jessica Simpson did in her last CD... ripping off both Berlin and Nancy Sinatra.

You're right!
i think alot of artists/creators in general aren't as inspired these days. I mean, look at Hollywood and all the 'remakes' and 'recreations' of old movies and books. Nothing original man...

I think it has less to do w/ inspiration and more to do w/ the lack of talent. In todays music world, good looks are probably more important than any real musical talent. You see, video did kill the radio star.

yea i like Sia's "Breathe Me" (Four Tet Mix)....i personally like it more than the original version. its all about the drums yo.

i know..
this 'change' is a tad bit scary, C.

but, i gotta admit. i'm kinda enjoying it... i bought the lilies before they had bloomed and now they're slowly blooming one by one. Since i had been told that the anthers have pollen that could cause allergies and just make a big mess in the house, I've been tending to them every morning - taking the pollen packs, changing the water, cleaning the vase.. :O

I got up this morning and did the whole flower ritual all over again.
plus, I actually made myself a breakfast sandwich *gasp*... and wrapped it up NICELY to take to work.
