vidding software for Windows 7/8?

As I've mentioned before, I recently bought a new laptop, a Lenovo Yoga, and now I'm thinking about vidding again. I used an older version of Adobe Premiere Elements on my 6-year-old laptop, and I still have the disk, but I don't even know if it will run on this - and anyway, I'm sure that there's got to be something newer and better
