I sort of blew off the last few days of the Fandom Appreciation Challenge, but I wanted to get in on today's bonus challenge, which is to rec two challenges or communities. There is also a bonus from a few days ago which is essentially the same thing, so I'm going to give you three.

Hi, I just happened along this post through friends of friends and just had to comment. /creepy.

But, oh god, Sword at Sunset fic! Gimme. It was one my picks for Yuletide this year, and nothing came out of it for me but it is so great and eminently ficcable.

Oh, hee, no need to apologize - people are welcome from anywhere! (And besides, I recognize your username from Yuletide when I beta-read a Lost in Austen story for you, I believe.)

And yay, another potential reader! I am encouraged! And I just looked at your request (via the NYR page - you're zeen, right?) and I AM WRITING FOR YOU apparently, because this is Gault/Levin. (Is it Levin or Leven? My copy has the former, but it's a bootleg OCR.)

I am writing for you! This makes me ridiculously happy.

You did indeed! Man, Yuletide was such a happy time for me. :D

And oh mannnn, you know ever since The Eagle came out to theaters I was not-so-secretly hoping that people would expand to Sutcliff's other works, especially Sword at Sunset, and especially Gault/Levin. Thanks for the vote of confidence. I have a pretty epic tragic heroic etc plan; we shall see if I can pull it off.

Incidentally, carmarthen has vague plans in the works for sutcliff_swap, an all-Sutcliff (bookverses) exchange. I think she is busy right now but I am hoping that it comes to pass eventually.
