i love this story so far its giving me more of the story that i loved i just recently watched prison break. i didnt watch it when it was on and cant remember why because its a wonderful show and im sad that it ended the way it did :(

Thank you! I just watched it this year as well. The first two seasons blew me away and the rest... it felt like it became a poorly planned out way to keep making money rather than a story that needed to be told. Like virtually everyone else, I hated the ending too (hence this fic). It wasn't the fact that a character I loved died - that can and does work well in some shows - it was the pointlessness of it (so many other ways to save Sara and don't even get me started on the cancer thing) and the realization that everything happened so rapidly - the entire series over like four months? six months? - that the characters never had a chance to enjoy their successes or each other. That's the part that was heartbreaking to me.
