Joys of Motherhood IV

This is reminiscent of a story told by my friend Jenny about her son Joey.

Me:  EXHAUSTED...I'd been painting all day and had just nearly had it for the day.

Wyatt:  Just woke up from a nap and FULLY energized.

My little brother was the same way. Physical punishment did nothing for him. He would say 'Go ahead! Hit me again, I don't care! You can't make me do what you want!' I'm thinking at the time that he was just too dense to understand that what he did was wrong. But whenever our Mother started crying over him, which was very often, he would suddenly grow a conscience and do the right thing. I guess some kids just aren't too bright about certain things when they're young.
