Summary: She goes back to that part of her life in her mind and thinks that she had never felt like she knew she was doing the right thing more strongly. She was an idiot. She wasn't a rebel or a free-thinker, or a do-gooder. She was a coward. She was scared of finishing something.

Ouch.

Lovely, and so perfectly in character with Britta. Love the callback to the Spanish-cheating episode, because it was a rather telling insight into her character.

Oh, Britta. As much as I hate to think it, this is definitely probably how she felt after all was said and done. You captured it perfectly. Thank you for this.

Oh this is so, so Britta! I absolutely love this fic even though reading it broke my heart. I just want to crush Britta in a great big hug! I also want someone to make it all better for her. ;( Where's Abed and Troy and that giant cookie?

I feel so badly for Britta given the events of the finale. :( This ended up so super depressing, but I really wanted to explore what was going on with her in this episode. I'm glad you liked it, thank you.

Oh, Britta. This was lovely, and I can completely see her pov here.

Also, I had to comment on your title. It is so incredibly awesome. "At Seventeen" is one of my all-time favorite heartbreak songs, and that line is a killer from it.

I agree with the ouch so, so much. It's this kind of thing that makes me want to give her a great big hug. You captured her emotions and voice perfectly, though, and it's wonderful.

This actually ended up a lot more depressing than I intended, but the finale was a really gloomy episode for poor Britta. :(
