Even though Kate hasn't been a favourite of mine for a few seasons now (:() I was so sad for her when her Dad didn't show up when they got back. I figured he must have been away on a mission because there's no way he wouldn't have come to greet her after finding out she was alive.

Her calling him Daddy and him saying he was proud despite everything - really sweet. Nice turn around too starting it off with her worrying about another child and then ending with her feeling like one even though she really has grown up.

I was sad to see Kate alone (except for Aaron) when she came back, even though I knew that would probably happen. I'd been thinking, though, about what it would be like if her father had found out she was alive, but at the same time, believed she'd had a child.

I'm glad you liked this. :) Thanks for reading.

Aw this is perfect. I really wanted Sam to show up when they all arrived, if only because I really liked his character. So it's nice to see someone take the time to write their reunion, and do it well.

I love that she doesn't lie to him, that she wants him to know her, and thus tells him it isn't her son. And then that he doesn't ask, just tells her to take care of Aaron. It's lovely and bittersweet.

This is fabulous hun!

I always did like Sam if for the simple fact that he really loved Kate, where Diane didn't -- at least not the way she should have. I wanted to write something with them after I thought about what it would be like for him to find out she was alive, but then alive with a baby, and how that might drive him to go and see her. I don't think, after that, Kate could let him leave believing that he didn't know her. I think she knew she could trust him to understand she had a reason -- even after what happened with Wayne.

I'm glad you liked this, hun, thanks. :)
