You're writing Kate/Juliet. In a series. Of undetermined length.

Understand that the above thoughts make me giddy. Just as, you know, a sidenote.

In her sleep, she seems to be much calmer, if except for the fact that she sleeps near the edge of the bed and on her stomach, as if she’s waiting to have to run away.

I love that description, because that is exactly how I imagine Kate would sleep. In says so much about her in a totally indirect way and I love that you can do that.

I also love that it's Juliet up, wondering and worrying, while Kate sleeps peacefully. Juliet does tend to think things out more thoroughly, IMO.

I very much look forward to seeing where you go with this. Great fic!

Glad to hear it. :D I've been pondering the idea of Kate/Juliet and Other!Kate for a while now, and I finally found a way in. I don't know yet how many pieces the series will have, but I kind of didn't want this to seem like a one-shot, 'cause it isn't.

I've had that thought for a long time, that Kate would sleep on her stomach near the edge of the bed, because, conceivably, if you need to run that's a good position to be in. And, to me, that's Kate. Even in her sleep, when she's relaxed, she's not, you know?

I'm glad you're liking this! :D That's fantastic to hear.

I really liked this! Juliet's musings -- about her insomnia, about Ben, about what she and Kate are and what they could be -- were really well-done and in-character, I think.

I agree with slybrunette too, in that I loved how you portrayed Kate's sleeping habits, always primed to run. So yeah, great job, and I'll look forward to more!

Very nice job. I love how you follow Juliet's thoughts; how she wants things, but she can't really have them if they conflict with what Ben wants.

This was great. I look forward to reading more of this series. :) What I really like about it is that it plays into Ben's obsession with Juliet and how that relates to Kate. It's an angle that not many writers, if any, have explored.
