I love this! Sawyer's edges, and their contrariness, and Jack waiting and waiting. Such an excellent way to portray them both.

Aw, thank you hun! :) I'm glad to hear you liked it. This was an interesting one for me, writing-wise. I don't tackle Jack and Sawyer's platonic, canon-dictated relationship often. I wanted to play with Sawyer from Jack's POV and explore the kinds of ways he might see/look at him.

I'm glad that you enjoyed what I came up with. That means a lot to me.

oh wow, that is great! the gorgeous icon inspired you a really fascinating story! I love the idea of Jack observing Sawyer for days and more, trying to crack the puzzle... and that last line is perfect.

Oh, this is just wonderful. Even though this is narrated by Jack, I find your characterization of Sawyer to be the most striking part. So well done.
