On Wednesday, one of the worst things that could possibly happen to a comic book geek happened at my LCS: There were no new comics on the shelves. Apparently, a highway flooded in Oregon and Diamond's shipment was delayed. (I googled it, but can't find any news reports, thus the "apparently".) What is a distraught fangirl to do?

That awesome.

I ate the JSA, the big red heart (atom smasher?) immediately because they had broken up and, you know. COOKIES. And then today I ate Mr. Terrific's and Liberty Belle's, because I knew who they were. THEY WERE ALL DELICIOUS. I know a few more of them, but there are some that I HAVE NO CLUE. None. :D:D:D:D:D:D

The only thing that would be better than getting these cookies in the mail would be if I could be there making them with you guys, and talking about comics. <3333333333333

I'm extremely happy you like them (and relieved that only the letters and the heart broke in the mail). Yes, absolutely the big red heart represents Atom Smasher.

Ooh, I want to know which ones you are clueless about - I could give you hints - good hints. lol

LOL, I'm going to guess that the first one is Mr. America. Then CHARLIE!!! *squees* Then Power Girl. Then Michael! And Pieter! *flails* The next one then is Citizen Steel? And the next one is Obsidian... Then the next... I am blanking on. The next is Frankie! (I so have to write a story about Charlie and Frankie) then Liberty Belle, then Maxine, then Atom Smasher! Is the next one Flash? The one of the Wildcats, lol... The next one is Ma Hunkel? I've got no idea for the next four, woe! Is the crown Alan? And the one after that is Fate... no idea for the one after that... then Power Girl's Cat! No idea for the next two... then Stargirl? And no idea for the last...

It's been such a long time since I read JSA! I forgotten what everyone's costumes look like... This is just so incredibly awesome, I hope you'll post a link to jsa_allstars some time! :D

HEE! Yes, we did indeed make a Charlie cookie. And a Frankie cookie. And Power Girl's cat (why doesn't he have a name?) I would love to read your story about Frankie and Charlie - sounds delightful!

Right on all counts except Alan's is not the crown (psst... look at that last one again). :D Thanks for playing!

JSA is better now that it's in two books - the art on All-Stars is terrible which is woeful, because otherwise it's not bad. JSA proper makes me ragey for Todd, but Ashley tells me that's because I'm fixated. lol

I know that some people call Power Girl's cat Streaky, but I don't think I've ever seen... him? her? use any powers, lol!

LOL, I thought after that I was wrong about the crown... King Chimia? (sp) I just went 'crown, checkmate, Alan'. I was trying to be too clever! :P

JSA is better now? Hmm, I might have to think about starting to read it in trades again, then...
