IT HAS TO BE MEAN AND CRUEL. WELL MAYBE IT DOESN'T BUT THAT'S HOW IT HAPPENED. If it's any consolation, only one more person dies (although it is major character death--sort of).

Yeah, poor Rose. Poor Susan too. Life isn't easy on them. But I promise there's a happy ending! :D
