There HAD to be a happy ending for River/Melody and the Doctor and Rose. :D I love happy endings. And no I'm not trying to promote alternative ships for River Song, why would you think that? XP

Got directed here by crossover_news. I get the feeling I'm going to have to start this from the beginning because this part was good.

I'm a horrible mod at wholockians sometimes, but have you posted previous parts of this story there? This might be up some of the community member's alley if you haven't.

If you haven't read from the beginning this ending might be a bit confusing. XP And I actually was unaware of the existence of the wholockian community, but I will now go there and post this story. :D I'm glad you enjoyed it! I definitely enjoyed writing it.

Oh this is good. Really really good! You brought tears to my eyes a few times during this entire piece, excellent weaving of Doctor Who & Sherlock.

I hope you continue to write excellent pieces like this, for I would love to read more!

Thank you so much! :D I'm glad you enjoyed it! Writing 'The Woman' was a lot of fun (if occasionally vexing as the Muse decided that it was going to be longer than I had originally intended--MUCH longer). Rose Tyler is a BAMF and I loved combining her with Irene Adler.

I'm actually planning on writing another Sherlock/Doctor Who crossover as part of my 'All Roads Lead Home' universe. If you haven't read it and you're looking for several hours to kill, take a look. :D I also recently finished a seriously AU version of 'Rose' called 'Alternatively.'
