Rating: M
Features: The 10th Doctor, Rose Tyler, mentions of Donna
Pairing: Rose/Doctor
Summary: She's always had an affinity for water.
A/N: This is my response to
kelkat9's prompt on the
doctor_rose_fix fall fix-a-thon. :D Enjoy! Also, this takes place in my
All Roads Lead Home universe and as such is compliant with THAT canon and not Doctor Who canon in general.

This fic....! I love it :D
There was this girl, this little girl; she couldn't have been more than seven. Her mum had the plague and her dad was gone and she'd attached herself to Rose, even followed her into the prison because there was nowhere else for her to go. The guards had taken her away, promised to look after her until a home could be found.
The guard station was the first building to burn.
That part made me cry, though. Poor Rose. She may not admit it but I know she wants to have children with the Doctor, even if it's impossible because of the species barrier. And that little girl could have been Rose at one point, with no dad and a single mother :(
Also, I can totally see Donna chasing after them with a shoe, squirt bottle, or something equally as random for whenever she caught them at it. Now I want to see the Doctor trying to get revenge on Donna when he walks in on her and Lee and failing utterly xD
Everything about TLAWR verse makes me happy, and this is no exception. I love it!!!

Oh, Rose totally does. At her best she's super nurturing and definitely maternal, even after everything that's happened to her. Of course she couldn't turn a child away, especially a child in pain who reminds her of herself. And Donna catching the Doctor and Rose sucking face is HILARIOUS.

Angsty sex is the best kind of sex. XP From a writer's perspective, anyway.
