Loved this scene. Who wouldn't want to be Rose here? I'm always a fan of a more 'instinctual' Nine.

I love your incorporations of Rose's timelines, as well as how he reacts to her body's hormones. I've always appreciated when authors incorporate the way the Doctor perceives the world around him.

I wanted to make him markedly alien. Because sometimes the show doesn't always demonstrate that the Doctor IS an alien and as such he reacts differently than a human and perceives the world differently. And if we're in his head we should too. :D

I think it's easier to write Nine losing control in a more raw way than Ten. :D

This chapter is absolutely beautiful. I really liked how receptive Rose is to the TARDIS. I am glad Rose hid her disappointment over the Doctor not having tentacles ;) Their lovemaking was sensual, loving, and inevitable.

I loved the way you wrote the Doctor's perception of the way Time reacts to Rose:
...A flicker of gold catches his eye and he pauses. Time shimmers and wraps around her. Time lines flicker on her skin like strings of golden glitter and dance in her eyes. Every Time line, every single one twines about her like an affectionate kitten and tangles around her. The possibilities are literally endless and he feels like he did on that night so long ago when he gazed into the abyss, into Time itself-and it gazed back into him. He feels small and vulnerable and elated, as if all of the universe is stretched out before him (Ask and ye shall receive, knock and the gates will be opened wide). And he laughs. Rose is bringing the Doctor back to life with her acceptance if him. Hopefully it will continue as she learns more about

Thank you so much! :D Rose and the TARDIS have always been friends, in my headcanon. The TARDIS, being an eleven-dimensional life-form who experiences all of time at once knows what Rose is willing to do for the Doctor, and Rose can see how much he loves the ship, so they get to be best girlfriends--as much as one can call a dimensionally transcendent space and time ship a girlfriend. XP

This is a beautifully written chapter full of RTD canon and more importantly full of fanfic canon.

It's poetic He wants to learn to play her body like the time lines, to ride the crest of her pleasure like the fires of a supernova. And it is very hot.

Thank you! Honestly, that sex scene took me the longest time to write--I've been working on it for like two weeks. Next chapter will be the last, and hopefully contain a bit more plot. XP

I love writing Rose and Nine because they are so hilariously snarky and they make bad puns and I LOVE puns. :D

Actually I'm not sure he's gonna meet Jackie yet. Just wait until he brings Rose back a year late. XP EVEN MORE AWKWARD as she ran away with her teacher and NO ONE will believe they weren't fucking (nor should anyone, because they totally were).
