I can't wait until they find Jenny again. And it's sad, seeing how happy River is about her expedition, yet knowing that she's about to die... but still, they have the towers left, and all their adventures in the future, so it's not goodbye for them yet.

And I think everyone but Donna keeps forgetting about Lee... xD

I think everyone's so wrapped up in themselves at this point that they kinda forget anyone outside their own little bubble exists. XP Especially the Doctor--he's got 1/2 of his enormous brain trying to figure out how many scans he can do without Rose noticing, and the other half worrying about the lack of results from said scans.

It is sad watching Jenny go, but don't worry, she'll be back in The Straight and Narrow Road, and Detours is really her story (we stick to her time line and she's the main character).

River's character is so beautifully tragic. The knowledge of her death really impacts, in my opinion, the relationship that the Doctor and Rose form with her. They still don't quite trust her, but she gave her life for them, so there's a lot of emotion that goes with that knowledge.

OH LOVELY! is there more to come? are we continuing on to the specials?? Because I am beyond psyched for anything and everything :-D

Thank you! And yes, we're on to the specials! I'm glossing over The Next Doctor a bit, because I want to get on with Planet of the Dead and The Waters of Mars and The End of Time. :D

I was just about to call it a night when I decided to take one last peek to check for an update. I literally squealed with delight (thankfully no one was around to witness). Very excited to be getting on to the specials, I thoroughly enjoyed Waters of Mars.

I'm looking forward to the Waters of Mars myself. :D It's gonna be tense--bad things happen when the Doctor goes a little mad.
