Wait, no Karl Urban as Eomer? *pokes you*

I love the Entmoot! So hilarious... and you do great portraits - I love Boromir (whatever the actor's name is...)

O.O Gods, y'know thinking about it, I don't know if i've EVER drawn Karl Urban. :o
I'm going to have to ask sheiannasherra if she remembers any pics. I mean, I was completley obsessed with his treasure trail at one point, I sure i must have drawn it him.

*is getting cenile in her old age*

Glad you like the pics :D! Ooh the Boromir actor is Sean Bean. Mmm, gorgeous yorkshire accent *swoons*

Thank you, I'm glad you like! It's always lovely drawing someone who's drop-dead gorgeous. :D (Stipe, not Aragorn... bleurgh)

Holy crap, they're amazing! I particularly love the Boyd one as well as Boromir! Stipe is great, too! Man, fantastic pieces!

I'm so glad you posted these! How did I manage to miss seeing the ones of Pippin and Merry with the veggies???!!! o_O

***feels very privileged - and slightly greedy - at having the original of the Billy Boyd and the Entmoot hanging on my computer room wall... not to mention the Sheia and her hobbits one!***

Oh, and I'll second the request for a Karl Urban/Eomer one when your schedule becomes less insane and you actually have the time for artwork!

OMG you've never seen those? i think they're some of the oldest peices i have on my computer. they were done for "the very secret diaries" :D merry loves his trusty carrot and pippin, as ever is over enthusiatic and brought along an eggplant... or some such nonesence lol

Oh man, i was going to ask you if you remembered a Karl pic. I'm sure i did a Price of Milk one but I might not have scanned it, in which case it's long gone :(.

Hmmm... Now that you mention it, I do vaguely remember a Price of Milk one from ages ago but obviously forgot to save it to my computer. That was from waaay back when we first started getting to know each other before I had sense enough to save your artwork! It was so long ago that I think it might have been when we were members of The Group That Shall Not Be Named (aka: the group that can't spell ass)*giggle*

heheheheee! I was going to liken the group to the death eaters, after you said 'The Group That Must not be Named' but that would probably lead to me to say 'ass eaters' and thats about as appealing as the group itself!! :D
I shall add a karl pic to the ever-increasing to-do-list. Can you belive i'm still trying to write the comic i told you about. :( *stressed*

Wow, your portraits are beautiful ! They have a depth to them, especially the eyes ...
They are of course totally recognizable, yet they all have something (again, the eyes) in common that gives them a particular feeling . I don't know how you do the shading (it seems you cross-hatches ?) but it really turns out well, it sculpts the faces.
Great job !

Thank you, I'm so glad you liked them. I admit i love drawing eyes, i think that once you have them down the rest of the face draws itself... i never managed to draw Orlando bloom's eyes right, hence, no finished portrait of him! lol

The shading is a mix of cross-hatching and normal blending, which comes about from me being too lazy to sharpen my pencils regularly :D - but yey glad it works! thanks!
