I'm ooooooooold. So ooooooooold.
(I apologise if this entry is somewhat lacking in my usual wit and charm, I wrote a really long one earlier but my Internetz closed down and it went away... D: )
Spent yesterday with a bunch of friends. Went and saw Juno at the cinema. It was a really, really brilliant film. It definitely had the feel of an indie flick about it, which I mean as the highest praise. It made it more real somehow. Hollywood hadn't messed it up. The script was witty and funny and really sweet. The main girl herself was fantastic -
I think she would be a good Bella Swan. And then we all went to the Stockpot, which is this lovely little Italian restaurant off Leicester Square. And I got my presents! Yay! My friends got me lots of art supplies and tickets to go see Sum 41 at Brixton Academy! *squeeeee*
Here, something which sums up my opinion on the concept of birthdays in general:

Family birthday celebrations were a bit on the down-low because my mum's still out of the country sorting out my grandpa's funeral. But I got an iPod from my parents, and a CD from my brother which I had to reluctantly tell him I already owned (LotR soundtrack).
Except exceptexceptexcept I tried to download iTunes for my iPod, except I need Service Pack 2 downloaded on my computer (which is a Windows XP) except I've been trying to download SP2 for about a year now, and when it doesn't crash my computer, it tell me that I don't have the right operating system for it to work. Can any technophiles on my friends list tell me why a Windows XP computer doesn't have the right OS or how I can fix this?
Also, and this is an entirely unrelated point, but my Superpoke application on Facebook keeps giving me Mardi Gras-related actions to do. Is Mardi Gras some American celebration? Could someone explain this to me?
