Got back yesterday from Kepplewray camp. It was amazing, just like last year, only it was more... intense. Ah man, it was incredible. All the activities were brilliant, I jumped off bridges into streams and abseiled 140 metres into a quarry and canoed to Wildcat Island. And the religion was brilliant, everything just seems so much clearer there. Like, it all seems plausible and real and I understand it.
I really don't know how on earth to express it all in an entry, there was just so much that I loved and so much that I miss now I'm at home again.
- A bunch of guys carried a cross up one of the mountains (it was in the Lake District) and left it standing up there.
- The girls remained the victors of Gay Chicken.
- Did I mention that I abseiled down a rock face?
- Apparently, if you have dreams about being chased by horses, you're afraid of sex.
- The leaders filmed themselves doing the most insane sketches.
- Everyone sang along to 'Tribute' by Tenacious D.
- There was this massive bouncy castle-y pyramid in the field which was covered in water and washing up liquid and bubbles which you had to run up and down.
I miss it already. Wow.
