Back from Caerdidd

I got back to London from being in Cardiff for five days yesterday. Cardiff is an alright place to go, but it's not exactly touristy. Bits of it are like Winchester, which is nice, but bits of it are also like Southampton, which is a little bit crap. We climed one of the Breccon Beacons in the snow, which was horrific but beautiful. Also went to loads of old medieval castles that got rebuilt by 19th century romantics and decorated like some sort of trippy William Morris fairytale land. We were standing in a courtyard in one of them and all of the sudden it started snowing and it was like snow and Wales and hills and castles all together and everyone was running round screaming.

Ooh, and of course I went to the waterfront bit and saw the Torchwood place. The architecture around there is absolutely mad, it's all got crazy roofs...

Speaking of Torchwood, watched the last episode which I thought was good, but so not as good as the last season finale. And who on earth are they going to get for the next series? Other than John, who made it blatantly obvious that he was coming back (how about a spin-off series for him too?).

Oh, and I watched Doctor Who which was so stupid, even though it was entertaining.

Am trying to get a start on GCSE revision, which I have left rather late and am trying not to think about too much.

And finally, my new and improved life plan upon leaving school is to set up a 19th century bohemian romantic community in the West End, ike the ones they had in Monmartre, where I'll live above a coffee shop just like the one in Ironside with all the secrets in the drawers and we'll all be very very Deep and drink absinthe and be Artists. You're all welcome to join me - any takers?
