Invasion of the edibles

Over the past few years, I've noticed a number of foreign foods arriving on our shelves. I don't mean different types of Thai food and the like, I mean branded items that we're only previously available in far-off lands.

I'm definitely with you on the stroopwafels. I'd also like a wider selection of Thai and Indian spices.

Local deli had "toffee waffles" which were very similar to stroopwafels - must nag them to get more in :)

The Fabulous Bakin' Boys make a reasonable stroopwafel - half-Dutch SIL used to be one of their reps and her 100% Dutch mother approved of them so they must be alright. ;-)

I would love to see flavours of fizzy drink currently only sold in the USA - Dr Pepper Berries and Cream, Sunkist Cherry Limeade, that kind of thing. And the spreadable Brie in tubs we found in Virginia.

No, no. Think of it not as Brie but as a superior cheese spread and it's fabulous. ;-)

Ok, where are you getting the Miracle Whip? Our local Morrison's had it for a few months but have stopped selling it and I am once again suffering withdrawal symptoms! :( It's just sooooooo go! :)
