CHAIN Talk 1 “Male brothers are the best!”
KAMENASHI X TANAKA
They talk about the “virtue” that they understand because they’ve been grown up with just male brothers!!
There’s the feeling you’ve gained so much more in life!
Ka: Ready, steady… (gives signal to do it like Ametalk [*])
Ka&Ko: We are… the idols with many male brothers!
Ko: That is, I’m the second of 5 brothers, Kame is the 3rd of 4 brothers… How is your family, does everyone get along well?
Ka: Yes. We go shopping and drinking together. Maybe there’s a friends feeling more than brothers.
Ka: Ah, my family too. In my family we’ve many years of difference; when I was in 6th grade my big brother got married and left home, so on the contrary we started to go out together more often after becoming adults.
Ka: Having so much age difference it looks like you hadn’t had many fights. Since in my family we’re all close in age, every day was a very “law of the jungle” day.

The game they’re recently into….?!
J: Even if you say games, recently we often play with analog games like tramps.
N: Together with everyone in the dressing room, right. Last day I had and overwhelming victory.
J: it was a wonderful win with wide margin. But I don’t lose in fighting games!
N: Were you good at them?
J: Ain’t I strong? We played on the net previously.
N: That’s such an old fact. Isn’t it about 10 years ago? I was very scared that time. Because on the net you get to know unknown people.
J: Now I have 75 friends on net games!
N: You, aren’t those more than the ones you have in the real world!? (laughs)
J: Well… it is. Erm, let’s change topic! It isn’t a game, but we did the mobile anime “Ai wa KAT-TUN”. It seems my voice was quite praised~♪

A talk about cuisine dressed as cats, connected to the 2/22 “cat’s day” (!?)
Why these two who like cooking transformed into cats!?
Ka: Nya!! Nya!! Since the day this number will be out is 2/22 (Wednesday) is the cat’s day… So Taguchi-kun, wear cat ears.
J: Aah~ (while putting on the cat’s ears) my precious hair! (cries)
Ka: Done?
J: Nya!!
Ka: We’re… the cooking combi? What did you cook recently?
J: Yesterday bukkake udon [*], adding natto, eggs and onion. What did you cook, Kame?
Ka: Mushroom hamburger.
J: Great!
Ka: I created the ingredients uniting the leftover minced pig meat of the day before and the beef that was in the fridge. Then I cooked it together with leftover vegetables and mushrooms.
J: Like a professional!
Ka: While cooking I add milk and make it a sort of cream stew.
J: Oh~
Ka: And you’ve prepared a mushroom hamburger cooked together with cream!
J: And actually who taught you this recipe was me!

J: The point we share…
U: There isn’t aaany!
(Staff comes in their help saying “you have an older sister, you’ve learnt many things”…)

U: We both have sisters. And then things we learnt? What did you learn?
J: Tap dance, yatch… piano. I’ve dropped piano in 1 year. Because since I’m left-handed it’s difficult for me. So I played it for one year, did the recital and then stopped. Did you take part to piano recitals?
U: I did!
J: Wearing half pants, a shirt and suspenders.
U: The same, the same! (laughs) But you know, I was absurdly nervous. If I had done a mistake I’d have been easily exposed. It’s not common use to stick your tongue ♥ (he sticks his tongue) [*] Even during lives I am nervous when I play the piano in the middle of silence.
J: Really? What else, did you go to cramming school?
U: I went~ It was a commuting cramming school. It was something like doing 3rd grade studies while I was still in 1st grade.

J: Ah! Do you remember when we took purikura [*] together, around high school time? Koki, you wrote “heaven and world, only I am holy” (laughs)
Ko: Because I was a spoiled brat-ti. Because I thought those were the coolest words in the world-ti. Green tea, herb tea, rose hip tea.
J: Do you want to talk about tea?
Ko: No, the talk can’t continue. Then, incredible stuff.
J: Incredible stuff-ti~? At the end of the year, since we had some free time before the countdown I ate ramen at “Tokyo dome city” with Koki.
Ko: After that, we said “let’s go on the roller coaster”.

N: Shall we draw something?
Ka: Eeeh. I’m fine though…
(he focuses on drawing for a while without a word)
Ka: Ok, done!! A sad time~, when I’ve seen someone leaving the seat for the aged to Nakamaru~
N: What’s that?! Rejected~!!
Ka: (Looking at the fine work of Nakamaru who faithfully reproduced the boy on the crayon box) As expected, you’re good~!
N: It’s because you suck at this, Kame. The “Sento-kun” you’ve drawn on the TV program time ago gave birth to a new character! (laughs),
Ka: Because I’ve never thought “I’m going to draw skillfully”.

KAT-TUN is unexpectedly without A-type people. The talk of the 2 representative of B-type.
Are they really “my pace”? The great mystery of the B-type combi…
U: Koki is B-type too, but this time it’s this combination.

Ko: They grew back quite a lot!
U: Yes, I’ll cut them again! I don’t feel like letting them grow again. Unless it’s required for work.
Ko: Because it’s comfortable~. But now you can’t do “Marie Antoinette” at lives anymore!
U: I won’t do that song again for sure!
Ko: There wasn’t a sense of incongruity since the beginning and it also suits you, I think it’s fine~
U: It was a drama role and I had no resistance. And Koki?

GROUP CROSSTALK
The decision by majority is the greatest trouble? The production of the live is difficult
KAT-TUN has released the album “CHAIN”, first after almost 1 year, and has started a concert tour that comes around 12 places all around the country.
Ka: Starting from the theme “to link/to connect” we proposed many ideas, and at the end we decided for “CHAIN”!
Ko: It’s a “CHAIN” with the meaning of connecting us all with the fans; but also connecting fans with fans, and the whole Japan.
N: Not only the live, but also the theme compared to all the ones done until now is a very heartwarming one. For this reason the songs with an adult feeling increased too.
U: For example “Houdoukyo” isn’t a ballad neither R&B. It is something that hasn’t been in KAT-TUN until now.
J: There are many medium tempo songs. The number of song is high so also the width of genres spread, it was good.
Ka: For this reason we can challenge a lot during the live too!
U: We keep dancing a lot this time. We fussed over the VTRs too.
N: For the play corner, there’s also the plan to make the audience take part to it! We always have the thought of keeping dear the connection with the audience, but it’s quite difficult to add it to a performance. This time we created that corner.
J: I think that this time’s Kame solo was unusual. It’s absolutely different from his usual “I’ll charm you” feeling.
Ka: I thought to have them enjoy the atmosphere. I decided for a healing type.
U: Koki’s song sounds amusing too!

Kamenashi who’s terrible at drawing and the skilled Nakamaru finally fight in all earnestness!
The plan of challenging with their best drawing…?!
N: Shall we draw something?
Ka: Eeeh. I’m fine though…
(he focuses on drawing for a while without a word)
Ka: Ok, done!! A sad time~, when I’ve seen someone leaving the seat for the aged to Nakamaru~
N: What’s that?! Rejected~!!
Ka: (Looking at the fine work of Nakamaru who faithfully reproduced the boy on the crayon box) As expected, you’re good~!

Ko: They grew back quite a lot!
U: Yes, I’ll cut them again! I don’t feel like letting them grow again. Unless it’s required for work.
Ko: Because it’s comfortable~. But now you can’t do “Marie Antoinette” at lives anymore!
U: I won’t do that song again for sure!
Ko: There wasn’t a sense of incongruity since the beginning and it also suits you, I think it’s fine~
U: It was a drama role and I had no resistance. And Koki?

The decision by majority is the greatest trouble? The production of the live is difficult
KAT-TUN has released the album “CHAIN”, first after almost 1 year, and has started a concert tour that comes around 12 places all around the country.
Ka: Starting from the theme “to link/to connect” we proposed many ideas, and at the end we decided for “CHAIN”!
Ko: It’s a “CHAIN” with the meaning of connecting us all with the fans; but also connecting fans with fans, and the whole Japan.
N: Not only the live, but also the theme compared to all the ones done until now is a very heartwarming one. For this reason the songs with an adult feeling increased too.
U: For example “Houdoukyo” isn’t a ballad neither R&B. It is something that hasn’t been in KAT-TUN until now.
J: There are many medium tempo songs. The number of song is high so also the width of genres spread, it was good.
Ka: For this reason we can challenge a lot during the live too!
U: We keep dancing a lot this time. We fussed over the VTRs too.
N: For the play corner, there’s also the plan to make the audience take part to it! We always have the thought of keeping dear the connection with the audience, but it’s quite difficult to add it to a performance. This time we created that corner.
J: I think that this time’s Kame solo was unusual. It’s absolutely different from his usual “I’ll charm you” feeling.
Ka: I thought to have them enjoy the atmosphere. I decided for a healing type.
U: Koki’s song sounds amusing too!
Ko: The dog barks in the intro, right. There are also the voices of my dogs in it. In order to create this time’s live the meetings were kind of difficult! Just for the goods there were 4 or 5 meetings.
U: There were also times we had 5-6 hours of consecutive meeting in one day!
N: But my proposals were rejected one after the other~! I wanted to make a mouse pad~
J: The stickers I thought about were accepted~♪
Ko: The adhesive plasters were Kame’s idea. The fact to put them inside a can case so it can become a Frisk case.
