Google dermot morgan (the actor playing Father Ted) and you'll find radovan karadic's face appear in the search results. Clearly someone in the BBC has deliberately littered the page source with "Dermot Morgan", in order to entice the page's appearance in Google.

Or more likely, a lot of other pages pointing out the likeness linked to that pic on the BBC site.
It seems there are more pages claiming that Karadzic looks like tiresome NME hack Paul Morley. In fact, do a Google images search for "Paul Morley" and look what comes up... :D

Prone to abuses I would have thought - at the very least it gives wrong results. Amusing results, but erroneous nonetheless. Unfortunately it's nothing to do with the page source either, I searched it for the dermot and the morgan and nothing came out. So much for my theory that BBC employees have a sense of humour.

I had no idea google (or other search engines) used something like that in its search algorithms. Prone to abuses I would have thought - at the very least it gives wrong results. Amusing results, but erroneous nonetheless.
