I love how you've portrayed the progression of Ichigo's dawning realisation throughout the series, and this is such a natural continuation.
He leaned forward, wanting to hear, wanting to draw even closer. He was afraid that Ishida would push him back at any moment but he didn’t. Instead, Ichigo watched his pupils blossom like the black hearts of blue flowers as he leaned closer, their noses, their lips almost touching. Just wonderfully written ♥
Good luck with schoolwork. I'll be waiting patiently for the next installment, however long it takes :D

Thanks! Sorry the story is taking oh so much longer to post/finish than I thought it would. *very* happy to hear Ichigo's progression seems natural. Whew! ;)

Ahh, I was just thinking the other day how I wished you would update again soon :D

This chapter was brilliant. I love how in character Ichigo is. I really like reading it from his point of view. Excellent job. It's really turning out beautifully.
