Chattacon. It's not really your style. The panels are nonexistant, and really just an excuse to party all night. Not too much with the costuming either. Actually, pretty much all the "costumes" I've seen there are "DCon AfterDark" versions. Very casual social/party convention.

Sticky Fingers is a fantastic BBQ place in Chattanooga.
The Pickle Barrel is a Hole in the Wall bar, that serves Fried Pickles. YUM!

I definitely know fun! I just wasn't certain what variety of fun we spoke of. The restaurant and bar sound great, but you're right, the con doesn't sound quite my thing. Not sure though. I don't mind casual. What is the actual focal point of the con, though? Gaming, comics...?

I have to tell you Ishboo, the highlight of my last REAL Chattacon was player poker with you. I went to one more and it was so dreadful that I haven't been back. I think I've just outgrown it. There was a time when I would just wear the slut clothes for the hell of it and drink myself silly, but now, I've just been through too much to be able to pull all night drinkfests. I can stand a 2:00 party, but I'm done at that point. And it used to be SO good. Charles de Lint was there man. Good panels, we even had Pixar before pixar was COOL. I loved it 10 times better than D-Con. But something happened. Maybe it was the Clarion. Maybe the weather, I don't know. I saw you at the Clarion. The last one I went to was the Reedhouse and it SUCKED. OMG it SUCKED. I remember that we left and went to a bar it was so bad. They sectioned the drinking off and cramed everyone into this dirty place where there wasn't anyplace to sit and it was horrible and smelled bad. Just blech. And nazis were guarding it. It was just so anti-fun. They sucked the fun ( ... )
