Well, I've concluded my, uh - experiments, I guess you'd call 'em - for now. Like I thought, I can get to a few different dimensions using my guitar, if I've got it plugged in full blast. I've got the chords for Central and my dimension all worked out now ( Read more... )

*wandering again, needing to get away from the hospital. sulking. angsting. guilt-tripping. arguing with himself. can't really see more than a foot in front of him with his head lowered like that*

*sees Ed wandering around with every one of the trappings of gloom and self-pity except a private, portable rain-cloud; he ducks out of the sandwich shop he had been eating in, tossing his money on the table before he goes* Hey! Hey, Ed!

*somehow doesn't hear him over the arguments running through his head, continues walking and sulking (etc)*

*jogs up to be directly behind him and then pokes him in the center of the back to grab his attention, a faint worry starting in his chest over the excessively gloomy look on Ed's face* Hey, man.

I'm so glad you were able to make it back safely. I was really worried about you! Still, all's well that ends well, I suppose... you haven't told me yet what sorts of places you went!

*looks concerned* ...I can't imagine not going home to visit my family if I could... I mean, I can, but if I couldn't, and then I could.... *flustered* ...Well, I guess it's your life, you know what you're doing. *sighs*

*downright beaming at Clara, and speaking more quickly than usual, so that he trips over his own voice a few times* Well, see, the world I went to first off didn't have any people in it. There were just these gigantic tress, HUGE right? You can't even IMAGINE how big they were. There were fireflies everywhere, though, except they had feathers or something, I'm not really sure. It was super quiet, and kind of creepy ( ... )

*sparkly eyes, clasps her hands* Oh, wow, Mal, that sounds amazing! Especially that tree place, oh, I would love to see something like that! It sounds so beautiful! Where else did you go?

*large smile grows on her face* Oh, he should! *completely unfazed by the implications of being judged by him as being "suitable" or not* I would love to meet him! I mean- that is- if you want him to- I don't know, what do you think?

There were a lot of other great ones, too. I'm going to see if there's a way I can ... take people along, or something. If I find a way, I'll show you some of them. If - you want.

*scuffs his feet against the ground in an uncertain sort of way, letting out a very typically teenage sort of sigh, then grinning thinly* Yeah, he won't feel right about it 'til he comes to visit. It's the right thing to do and all. And I miss him. *the last bit comes out more definite and certain than the rest, as though he has just made his decision* Cool, okay.

Hey, Mal! *smiles* I was wondering where you'd got to. I'm glad you've worked out a way to get home, even if you didn't go. It must be a relief to know you can get there if you want to. Did you find anywhere interesting on your travels?

*beaming* Hey, Roy! What's up?

Yeah, it's nice, I can go visit and all that shit. I wanted to tell you, actually, I saw one of your doubles while I was going back and forth. It was hilarious, man, he was nothing like you! *more speculatively* ...That was a fuckin' weird dimension, though.
