I would totally recommend reading her book - you know, when you have time. She talks about this in the third chapter, Learning Through Play in the Preschool Years. Basically, many children engage in a period of gender identification and differentiation between two and six that is all about absolutes. She ends the chapter with lots of concrete ways to help them be less absolute.
