Being a keener, and being away this weekend and really busy all next week, I decided that I should get my H1N1 inoculation at the earliest possible opportunity, which in Halton was last Wednesday. I'd looked up the clinics well in advance, noted that the clinic ran from 2:00 - 8:00 at the Halton regional building. I wrote that down in my day-timer ( Read more... )

what is a "keener"?

glad you got your shot. i am trying to accept that no matter how bad my asthma, there's no way in hell i'm getting an h1n1 vaccine. even my partner's pregnant coworkers haven't been able to get theirs yet.

I love it when lineups - or crowds in general, like at open-air concerts - turn a bunch of strangers into friendly acquaintances.

In (one of) my other lives, I write a blog for nursing students. Would you mind if I linked to this and quoted a bit? I think it's always good for students to hear stuff from patients' point of view, and positive stuff at that, plus it's a sneaky way of reminding them they should consider public health nursing when they get out of school.
