It's funny that you haven't read Neverwhere (read it now, omg, so good) - I think I wrote this from a more Neverwhere place than GO, so it's nice to know it still makes sense!

Um... *blushes* I guess I write/have written a lot of stuff for school... but fiction? This was the first thing, really. I read a LOT, though, so I'm going with the assumption that that helps. Heh. Also, I absorb speech patterns easily and unconsiously, and I remember being good at imitating any given style in high school English, so, since I was referring to Neverwhere, this probably owes stylistically to Gaiman.
