His clothes were ripped and torn.
His whole body was full of cuts and bruises.
His hair was a mess.
He was tired, hungry, and cold.
Worst of all it had started raining and he had no jacket or umbrella.
He had no where to go.
Home was not an option.
He shuddered as he remembered what had happened not too long ago.
The only valuable thing he had was a silver locket that he wore around his neck.
He looked up at the sky, wondering how God could let this happen to him.
Unsteadily, he took a few more steps and collapsed.
He lay there, unconscious on the wet, cold, and hard ground...
