Jet goes to find Smellerbee and Longshot and they wander around the Earth Kingdom, rebuilding villages and trying to help refugees, in part because he feels he owes his country for all the terrible crap he's done.

There's a lot of WORLD TRAVELLING involved (including more and more time spent at the Fire Nation palace) and Jet definitely becomes the cool uncle to Gaang kids who shows you how to skin small animals and gut larger ones.

This future may or may not also involve ADOPTED WAR ORPHANS who terrorize the Fire Nation court officials and run shrieking down the palace halls and have terrible names that mean RISING DESTINY and BLUE DRAGON and HOPE FOR THE FUTURE.
