Everything is so far behind this year, it's unreal.

I was getting worried coz my mum's chilli plant already had flowers about 2 weeks ago.

Those look like really healthy plants.

You shouldn't worry about them taking their sweet time to blossom, I mean, just LOOK at them. Happy as can be.

You DO have a green thumb.

(glares out of the corner of eyes at showy-suffering Diva fern, then turns head to sickly wilting flowers on porch ledge that - in kindly meant attempt of counteracting local heat - have managed to practically drown...)

So, yup.

Haha, the only plant that my husband manages to keep looking remotely alive is made of plastic... Just saying :-)

How hot is it there? We've had a really cold summer. Maybe we should swap for a week?

PLASTIC - you hear that, Diva?! You ARE replaceable! >:D

It was in the mid to high thirties (Celsius) this week. (I never bothered to get the hang of Fahrenheit.) It is luckily cooling down a bit this week, but still no rain after years of accumulative drought. So yes, by all means, let's swap!

ROFL - I can practically see you shouting at the Diva Fern :-)

Phew, that's pretty warm to be going about your day in. It is here anyway coz no one has aircon. I think it reached about 22C today but then rained. Haven't seen sun in a week!
