18th century hair hoohas

Feb 10, 2009 21:02

I just finished my first little batch of 18th century hair ornaments. I'm going to have a hard time giving up the big black and burgundy one, but momma needs to go to Costume College (or pay off some debts.. or buy groceries...)

I love your hoohahs!!!

Can't buy one now, but if any are let after Costume Academy, I may seek to acquire one :-)

Oh, I'll be making them for the foreseeable future. Have to fill my Etsy shop with *something*! and every girl needs a fancy hooha!

I was thinking of a black and pink one for you.

Of course! If you have a photo of the polonaise handy, send me a link. I'm going to be placing a feather order on Friday and I can get some to match.

What size are you thinking of? The uber-tall ones or the smaller size?

can do! I have a fluffy green one I just got, which would look smashing against a really long black one.

my email is faelanae@gmail.com if you want to email me more photos directly.

So, the first few times I read this post, before I had a chance to click and check it out, I read "18th century hooha hair" (aka merkins) lol. But now I see you are far classier than I, and have made some excellent looking hair pieces...
