I firmly believe that the bailout is a sign that the republicans and their cronies already felt that McCain will lose. It is time to ask for money while Bush is still in power, because comes after November, no way in hell they could get anything from the administration since by that time, the administration probably is more busy saving their own asses than trying to push for a bailout.
