SQUEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

(I found the pattern for the mourning gown bodice I made last year. I so often forget to make a proper pattern for some of my costumes that I thought I'd made a muslin and didn't transfer it to plastic. YAY!!!!!)

Hey what does it look like? And if I like it, can I use it too?

In my post with the costumes on it, the pattern looks like the one in the center back (the black and white picture). It's a long bodice, with a circular-style overskirt.

You're more than welcome to copy the pattern, though you'll have to take it in significantly!

Hmm... I like it a lot, although I think for myself it might look good with a little mock mandarin collar like my green jacket. I've been longing for a period costume forever, although these days I don't have much time, I'd still love to copy the pattern. Maybe you can help me, as I don't have too much experience with patterns (I'm more the take the finished piece and modify type). Would be a fun project!

sure! The pattern is actually really easy.

I'm probably going to add a pointed collar to it. I've not decided on that point yet.
