SO, erm. It's been a while. And it will be a while longer, seeing as I am leaving for Germany today. I can't believe that it is actually happening. My God, I think that it's still not hit me fully. I am going to Germany- by myself- today. Shit. Alright, it's only for like 17 days, of which like 3 will be spent just traveling...but none the less ( Read more... )

HEY! Oh my gosh, good for you! And german is a lot like English, so don't worry. I'm just saying don't worry, but really, maybe you should--cuz language barriers are a pain. ;)

Language barriers are a pain. I'm staying with family for the most part, so it will hopefully make ti better. And I've got my little German book...but I have my doubts about these still phrase books actually working. I mean, written German is so different than a real person saying it out loud.

Thanks for trying to make me feel better. I'm just go, and we'll see if I end up dying or accidentally boarding a train to Poland, instead of Basel, or something.

I'm heading out now! I'll be checking to see if you've done any updates though! *hint hint*
