I have been bad, I admit. I have not posted in a week and I try to keep up with at least a few times a week.

Not much going on in RL except for school, friends & family and work. I re-started school because I have been like a year out and I really need my MBA if I want to go anywhere else in my job. I have been shopping, yes, but not one pair of ( Read more... )

I looove the new Emma - excellent casting, and they are doing such a good job with it. Definitely worth recording.

Emma was excellent, my favorite adaptation, and much better than the GP version or the Kate Beckinsale version. Romola Garai (an amazing actress who has yet to make a big name for herself here in the states) is a fantastic Emma, and Jonny Lee Miller is a good Knightley. The supporting cast is excellent (I especially adored Michael Gambon as Mr. Woodhouse, and Jodhi May is great as Miss Taylor/Mrs. Weston).

All in all, the BBC is usually top notch as far as British novel adaptations go. They're usually very faithful to their own.

Oh, and I don't know if you like Persuasion (it's my second favorite Jane Austen novel after P&P), but they're airing the 2007 version of Persuasion coming up here in the next few weeks or so that is amazing. I've already seen it via Netflix and I adore it. I recommend that one as well.

Better than the Kate one? Now I'm REALLY excited! I'm alright with Persuasion, my problem with Persuasion is that I seriously dislike the heroine, if the heroine doesn't cut it then it's really hard for me to get into the story.

Sorry to hear you guys had a fight, but that you worked through it is good!! Also, I couldn't help but laugh at "I dont want anything heart-shaped and pink coming towards me". Thanks for the laugh. It's 1 am in the morning and I'm working so I needed one.:)

:) I still dont want anything heart-shaped. I think the worst it can get is chocolate truffles in a heart box. That and the heart charm. Ugh, no.

i miss shoe shopping. since i am unemployed i am staying away from the mall. and i hate it. i did get two kick ass purses when we were on our cruise, but shoes are my crack. le sigh...

i don't really like valentines day either. it's kinda like new years eve to me. you get all of these expectations and stuff and in the end your always let down. we don't even go out to dinner on v-day anymore cause even with reservations you have to wait like an hour. screw it. i don't need flowers from my husband on that day to know he loves me.

i can't wait to read your review of sherlock holmes. i'm dying to see it. DYING! RDJ without a shirt. makes me think bad bad things. the movie could suck but shirtless Downey would be worth it.

**smooches**

I understand that completely, when I'm out of a job I brood and surf online for all the things I cant buy.

Can you believe I still haven't watched it? I dont know why I've gotten home so tired these days and I'm working on slowly re-organizing my room!
