I remember the first time I watched that scene in 3x10 in Veronica Mars, I nearly went into a catatonic state. It was just so perfect and real. And yeah, season 3 was not nearly matching in quality to the previous seasons, but damn, LoVe sure did have some epic moments. Loved how you described Chuck and Blair... as always.
P.S. Did you hear that Leighton and Ed's names have been submitted to the Emmy's for noms? I mean the Boston Globe, Entertainment Weekly, and New York Magazine have been backing Leighton pretty heavily so I though there might even be a slim chance for a nomination, I mean there is for both Ed and Leighton, but then Isabelle, chew on this: Chace was submitted by the CW. I am not fucking joking. And now I think the Emmy voters will be so pissed that they submitted Chace that Ed and Leighton might not even have that slim shot. Needless to say, I'm pissed right now, and this post just helped cool me down. So thanks. :)
Yes, I enjoyed S3 for the LoVe moments but what pissed me off about the show was how they made Logan's character 100% co-dependent on Veronica. She left him and he spent episodes just stuck in his room, without shaving and staring off at the balcony. That Piz shit was just shit and it pissed me off SO bad, I admit to also walking away. But I do believe if they had continued the season and maybe S4 Veronica would've always ended up with Logan.
I saw that about the Emmys, let them submit Chace in case they have a category for best dumb-shit face and he'll win it hands down. Sorry to Chace who seems like a nice guy but Nate's character? Dont make me get into it, it's Sunday.
Don't even get me started on Piz, like you said, it's Sunday. ;) But yeah, LoVe was just like a Ross and Rachel couple, always going back to each other. In that scene in the finale the way Veronica looked at Logan, and then how Piz looked at her,you could tell that he knew he already lost- Veronica would always end up with Logan at the end of the day. Anyways, Chace would totally win the dumb shit face competition HANDS DOWN! And I really don't care what the kid's like in real life, I don't need to have a conversation with him as a person, I just need to watch him act cause he is on this show, which he apparently can't do.
La Femme Nikita was my secret obsession. *nods* I wasn't allowed to watch-- so I'd lower the volume to almost mute, (you can imagine how much I understood! lol), but even watching like this I was always totally sure that Michael & Nikita would always save/choose each other. ♥ And of course, now I have it and can appreciate that yeah, they never got a break. *sigh*
I shipped Veronica/Logan. That first kiss still makes me *squee* Heh.
But I've never shipped anything quite as hard as I do CB. ;)
They got like 3 episodes of happiness before there was something that tore them apart. It was sad but at least it kept us on our toes for 5 seasons. lol
That was wonderful! Spuffy ties with Chair as my number one. I can't pick one couple over the other. Spuffy was so wonderful, sexy, funny and touching. I liked her with Angel but I loved her with Spike. My best friend and I would always say that Spike was our TV boyfriend. :)
I thought about doing a tie also ;) but then I figured, Spuffy introduced me to fanfiction, fanart, icon making, webmaking, there's ties there that Chair just benefited from. There was blood, sweat and tears there. ;)
