I just realized I never posted the final chapter of this...Oops!! Enjoy!
EDIT to add: A warning...this chapter is rated NC-17. Suppose that should have been mentioned. Oops again! heheh ( Lori's Birthday Adventure ~ Part 4 )
I'm really sorry to hear that. I know you were excited about starting someplace new and how disappointed you must be. :(
I'm not *exactly* sure what it is you do, but would you consider moving to the East Coast? I would think graphic design openings would be more plentiful out here? It is a big move though.....
Sending you positive thoughts and hoping something really special comes your way very soon....
Thanks, hon. I have family in NYC. But I'm not sure I could live there. I like big cities....but that's just too big...and too expensive. Don't really know much about the rest of the East coast. I have a friend in Detroit who has offered me one of her spare rooms...but it's Detroit. I don't know. I'll just have to see what happens.
I really, really enjoyed reading this, indeed was such an adventure! And you left an open ending!
Yeah, I'm also wish you the best, I really hope you find what you're looking for very soon, just don't give up, wait at least a couple of weeks, things happen when you less expect them!
Glad you liked it! Yes, a very open ending...I told Lori she can use her imagination as to what happens next....though I know what I would do with Fischer and big comfy sofa. ;)
Im getting ready to go back home in a couple days...I'm trying to look at this past month as an extended vacation....without pay. When I get home, I will have to figure out how to catch up on everything. :(
Ah well...as they say...Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

As for me....I'm probably going back to Michigan in a few days...I'm not sure I even want to stay here anymore.
