emailing a professor to see if you can get a b+ turned into an a- ... lame or acceptable?

you know, you are always hearing about how you should go and talk to professors and all of that. i'm a bit lost on the issue.

I totally did that. My professor said that a 94.75 would be considered an A if I received the other points in the class. Which I did. I got an A- for a final grade. She claims I was absent once over the allotted 2 absences. Which was bull. I called out so fast on it. My grade still isn't changed and probably will never be.

acceptable. I emailed two professors about getting 3.8's changed into 4.0's, and they both did it.
